The American Astronomer

The Quarterly Newsletter of the American Association
of Amateur Astronomers

The American Association of Amateur Astronomers has created an online archive of its quarterly newsletter, The American Astronomer. This archive serves as an online reference to AAAA members to find information in previous issues of the newsletter, as well as a way for interested people to find out more about the AAAA.

Use Adobe Acrobat Reader
to read the newsletter of your choice.

The PDF files were created using Adobe Acrobat Exchange Version 3.0. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 3.0 or higher to read these files in your web browser. Adobe Acrobat Reader is a plug-in that works with both Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer browser software. If you have an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, or need to download this FREE software, click here now.

Get Adobe Acrokbat 3.02

NOTE: Due to the use of color photographs, these PDF files are somewhat large, and may take some time to download if you are using a 56K modem or slower.

The AMERICAN ASTRONOMER Newsletter is issued quarterly in December, March, June and September by The American Association of Amateur Astronomers as a service to its members.

All AAAA members are encouraged to submit articles and photographs for publication. Send or e-mail all materials  to the Editor at the address below.

The opinions expressed by contributors to the AMERICAN ASTRONOMER do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the AAAA or the Editor. Articles representing supporting or opposing views will be published promptly upon receipt.
